Welcome to the Lakeside Café at Ward End Park!
Birmingham’s hidden gem
Established in September 2023 by Norton Hall Children & Family Centre, a local charity, the Lakeside Café is more than just a place to eat – it’s a vibrant community hub nestled within the serene beauty of Ward End Park.
We wanted to create a beautiful space where residents of Ward End and the surrounding areas can come together to relax, connect with nature, and enjoy delicious food.
Locally run | Community-focused
The Lakeside Café is run and managed by local women who are passionate about creating an affordable menu filled with high-quality, homemade dishes.
Every item on our menu is made with ethically responsible, locally sourced ingredients, ensuring that every bite is both delicious and sustainable.
Giving Back to Our Community
What makes the Lakeside Café truly special is our charitable commitment to giving back.
All profits from the community-led Café are reinvested into Norton Hall Children & Family Centre community-led projects and activities. These support a wide range of services and opportunities for local women, children, and families. When you buy from us, you’re not just enjoying a delicious, freshly prepared meal – you’re also contributing to the well-being and development of our community.
Be part of our community impact!
With every purchase you make, we Pay It Forward and provide community meals to those experiencing food poverty.
